Dear Beverly and family: I am so very sorry for your loss of Truman. I am without words. It has been my honor to have known him for nearly 45 years. We were colleagues and he was my mentor both professionally and personally. He was a dear friend in so many capacities. As Truman's name would suggest, he was a true man of pure good. He was one of the kindest, gentlest and sensitive people I have ever known. I will deeply miss him. Jim & Shirlee Ferguson, Sarasota, FL

Truman is a fine godly man. I say this in the present tense because Truman is more alive today than he has ever been before. It was a privilege being his and Beverly’s pastor! One day we will be reunited in Glory. What a day that will be!

We met the Good's when Trevor and Jeff were 4 years old. Our 2 families had many fun experiences together over the years. We left Sarasota the year Audrey and Matthew were born. Since then our friendship has been long distance. After 49 years, we have so many fond memories of Truman. He was very devoted to the Lord and his family. He was a friend that would do anything to help you. One day he had all 4 boys with him while Beverly and I attended a women's retreat. While Truman was serving as a Deacon at First Baptist, your family came to our house for dinner, Truman's mom, Mrs. Good also came with you. The Deacons were doing a family ministry and had been asked to visit the families they were assigned. After our meal, Truman told us we were on his family list, he then opened a notebook and asked us to share our testimony with him, which we gladly did. He even took notes! We cannot begin to express how much we loved and cherished our friendship with Truman and your family. There are friends, there is family, and there are friends who become family. Truman has left a trail of beautiful memories. With love and prayers, The Hudler's
