Obituary of Mickey Lee Fisher

Spencer- Mr. Mickey Lee Fisher, age 31, of Spencer, passed away unexpectedly on April 2, 2019, in Spencer. He was born May 22, 1987, in Sparta to Billy Jones and Mary E. Bennett.

He was a 2005 graduate of Van Buren County High School and a Utility Worker for the City of Spencer. Mickey was a member of the Church of God and was with Leadership Van Buren. He was a devoted father to his son.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Layton Lee Fisher; sisters, Rosa Russell and Tiffany Jones; many aunts, uncles, and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his brother Marcus Jack Bouldin; grandparents, William H. Jones and Mary A. Mills, an Kenneth D. Bennett and Barbara G. Madewell.

The Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Layne Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Graham officiating.  Burial will follow at the Spencer Town Cemetery. There will be a period of visitation with the family Friday, 12 to 9 pm and again Saturday from 8 AM until time of service. Layne Funeral Home & Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
