I knew Mickey from his Mcminnvile Coop days. He was always very friendly and good natured. Mickey was one of those who had something that stuck out for the good! As a fellow Water Employee, I am well aware of the dangers that are in this line of work. I am sorry for the families loss. Sincerely Robert Mathis

Sincere condolences and prayers for Layton, Elizabeth, Rosa, all Mickey’s family and friends. When our son Kenlyn was young, 1st or 2nd grade, he said, “Mama those big boys on the bus don’t pick on me anymore. Mickey Fisher said he whip everyone of them.” Sure enough, the next morning, when they got on bus, Mickey made his way up to sit by Kenlyn. Mickey told me later at Gribble’s, the other older boys were aggravating Kenlyn and he wasn’t having it. Even at 17, he was ready to step in, protect and serve. Mickey’s big heart and kindness will live on in all of us whose life he touched. We will miss you, Mickey.

To Mickey's son, parents, other family member's and his many friends prayers are being sent with our sincere sympathy for your loss. My husband and I only met Mickey once but we never forgot his friendliness and eagerness to help in any way. He never hesitated to talk about the son he loved so very much. Most memorable was his infectious smile. Praying God has welcomed him with open arms and we will all see him again in heaven. May God provide each of you with his loving comfort and a healing that only he can provide. In Christian Love, Nancy and Wayne Beck

Mickey will be missed dearly by so many. When I think of him, I think about two things. One being how much fun he was at school. He always kept us laughing and never failed to have that mischievous smile. Two, he was an amazing father to his son. At ball games and practices, he never failed to be there. You could see the love he had for his little boy. Mickey did good for himself. He had a good job, was very involved with the leadership program and was the best dad a little boy could ask for. I pray for his family, especially Layton . Heaven is now his home and I'm sure he is putting on a show for those who have passed on.

He loved his son so much. He always kept his friends smiling and laughing. He was a true friend and I will miss us picking on each other and his contagious smile. I'll truly miss my friend.
To his mother Elizabeth, I'm so sorry for your loss of your son. I'm here anytime you need me.
To Rosa, I'm so sorry for the loss of your brother. I know you will miss him so much.
Each of you are in my daily prayers and you're in my daily thoughts.
