Obituary of Destry Pernell Roberts

Livingston- Destry Pernell Roberts, age 53, of Livingston, TN, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. 

 

Mr. Roberts was born October 11, 1964 in Nashville to Leard Roberts and Ruth (Blaylock) Roberts.  He was employed for with CSX Railroad.

 

In addition to his parents, Destry is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Roberts of Livingston; step-children Chris Cantrell and Ashley Cantrell; three grandchildren, Keeley Cantrell, Layine Cantrell, and Jay Cantrell; nieces, Allie Lynn, and Kristina Lynn; brother-in-law, Michael Lynn; and many aunts and uncles also survive.

 

He was preceded in death by his sister Crystal Lynn.

 

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Wayne Sullivan and Ray Farley officiating.  Burial will follow in the Cookeville Town Cemetery with Thelma Roby presiding over the graveside.  There will be a period of visitation with the family Monday 5-9 PM, Tuesday 4-9 PM, and Wednesday 8 until time of service.
