Obituary of Brenda Lea Whittenburg

Pikeville – Mrs. Brenda Lea Whittenburg, 59, passed away, Tuesday January 23, 2018 at the Saint Thomas Highlands Hospital in Sparta. She was born in Sparta, Tennessee on March 5, 1958.  She was a resident of Van Buren County.

 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alene Brimer and a infant grandson, Ethan Upleger.

 

She is survived by her husband, Larry Wayne Whittenburg; father, J.D. Brimer; sons, Chris (Julie), Josh (Debra) and Derrick (Kelly) Miller, Jimmy Upleger; daughters, Misty (Stephen) Brown, Scarlet Evans and Sylvia Upleger; step-children, Kenneth and Billy Whittenburg, April Margeson; sister, Mary K. Webb; a host of loving grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday in the Layne Funeral Home Chapel with Minister, Andy Smith officiating with burial to follow in the Walling Cemetery. Visitation: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM Thursday at Layne Funeral Home, Spencer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
