Obituary of James Webb

Spencer – Mr. James Webb, 75, passed away Tuesday January 16, 2018 at the Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro.  He was born in Bledsoe County on January 22, 1942 to Charlie and Neva Mathis Webb who preceded him in death along with his brothers, Tom and Charles Webb; son, Jeffery Bo Walling.

 

He was a timber cutter and dozer operator.

 

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mary Brymer Webb; sons, Jason (Brandi) Hale and James Logan Webb; daughter, Connie (Modesto) Loya; sisters, Josie (Late Jimmy) Rainey, Joyce (Rayburn) Prater, Wilma Webb (Jimmy Bouldin) and Nancy (Tommy) Holloway; sister-in-law, Vivian Webb; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday in the Layne Funeral Home chapel with Minister Andy Smith officiating with burial to follow in the Dunn Cemetery in the Luminary Community.
