Obituary of George Brymer

Spencer – Mr. George Junior Brymer, 81, passed away at his home early Friday morning September 15, 2017. He was born in Spencer on December 1, 1935 to Carl Brymer and Cleo Simmons Brymer who preceded him in death along with his son, Jeff Brymer; granddaughter, Kayleigh Armstrong; sister, Estell Brymer.

He was a member of the Spencer Church of God and the Van Buren County Rescue Squad and had worked in timber most of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Evie Hale Brymer; son, Jerry (Jodi) Brymer; daughters, Mary (Wayne) Drake and Tina (Richard) Smothers; sisters, Margaret (Harold) Scott and Beatrice Mitchell; brothers, Edward, Carl (Heather), Buster (Dot), Willard (Ann), Houston (Betty), Jimmy (Debbie), Larry Dale (Lisa), Joe (Bessie) and Dwight (Helen) Brymer; 15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Spencer Church of God with Minister Jason Graham officiating with burial to follow in the Spencer Town Cemetery.
