COALMONT - Melissa Gail Dykes, 38, passed away Thursday, September 06, 2012. She was born on January 20, 1974 to Mitchell and Brenda Pickett Brady who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, T.J. Dykes; daughter, Amber Nicole Sims; step-daughter, Shayla Marie Dykes; sisters, April (Mike) Scruggs and Wendy (David) Kniffin; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Coalmont Cemetery. Visitation: 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM Friday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee
