Gruetli-Laager - Joan McBee, 66, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010. She was a member of the St. Bernards Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl David Burnett; husband, Alvin Wade McBee; daughter, Sherry Lynn McBee. She is survived by her son, Chad (April) McBee; mother, Frankie E. Burnett; sister, Bonita (Herbie) Hart; brother, George (Jeri) Burnett; grandchildren, Taylor and Landon McBee; special great-niece, Kendell Wideman. Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at the Coalmont Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Barton officiating. Visitation: 5:00 PM till 9:00 PM Friday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN.
