Signal Mountain - Virginia Rose Totherow, 70, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at her home. She was a member of the Mount Carmel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert E. Totherow; brothers, Frazier, Robert and Ben Andrews. She is survived by her daughter, Tammia (Robert) Sneed, Chattanooga; sons, Timothy (Shanda) Totherow and Michael (Jennifer) Totherow, Signal Mountain, Jarvis (Sharon) Totherow, Greenville, SC; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM CDT Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Steve Granger officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery. Visitation after 5:00 PM CDT till 9:00 PM CDT at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN.
