Altamont - Nancy D. Pickett Levan, 74, died Friday, May 07, 2010 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Martha Vaughn; first husband, Edward Pickett; second husband, Jarvis Levan; daughter, Brenda Brady; sister, Ethel Grimes; brothers, Carl Lee and Clifford Joe Vaughn; grandson, Brian Whitman. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Johnny) Whitman, Barbara Fults, Janice (Tony) Fults, Teresa Lynn Pickett, Elizabeth (Danny) Layne and Ann (Lamar) Johnson; 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Altamont Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00 PM till 10:00 PM Friday, 9:00 AM till 10:00 PM Saturday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN.
