Obituary of Ricky Joe Sons

Altamont - Ricky Joe Sons, 52, died Wednesday, May 05, 2010. He was born in Fayetteville, TN on February 24, 1958. He had served in the Tennessee National Guard, also the City of Altamont as Mayor and Alderman. He was a member of the Church of Christ at Altamont. He is survived by his wife, Gina Dickerson Sons; daughters, Kaitlin and Abby Sons; parents, Joe and Viola Sons, Lynchburg, TN; sisters, Connie (Ron) Adams, Shelbyville, TN and Sandi (James) Carter, Lynchburg, TN; brothers, Tim (Debbie) Sons, Lynchburg, TN, Dennis (Tammy) Sons, Altamont, TN and Tony (Modesta) Sons, Lebanon, TN; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Friday at the Church of Christ at Altamont with Ministers Ron Adams and Joe D. Gray officiating with burial to follow in the Altamont Cemetery. Visitation: 4:00 PM till 9:00 PM Thursday and 12:00 Noon till 3:00 PM Friday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, TN.
