Obituary of Malcolm J. James

Palmer - Rev. Malcolm James, 72, died Saturday April 3, 2010. He was a retired Minister with the Church of God serving in Altamont at the Killian's Chapel Church of God for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Ruby Anderson James; wife, Stella M. Boyd James; brothers, Tommy, Billy and Neal James. He is survived by his sons, Mike (Joanice), Phillip (Connie) and Anthony (Cindy) James; brothers, Mallory (Ruby), Oscar Harold (Martha) and Randal (Claudia) James; sisters, Mary (Edward) O'Neal, Diane James and Teresa (Mike) Cordell; sister-in-law, Madge James; grandchildren, Jeremy and Logan James, Crystal (Grant) Lawson; great-granddaughter, Bella Lawson; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Larry Campbell officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer City Cemetery. Visitation after 5:00 PM till 10:00 PM Sunday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN.
