Obituary of Clercy Jane Myers

ALTAMONT - Clercy Jane Sartain Myers, 88, of the Skymont Community died Saturday March 13, 2010. She was born in Pelham, Tennessee on December 21, 1921 to Lewis and Betty Dickerson Sartain who preceded her in death along with her husband, Doyle Myers; sisters, Hazel Hawk, Stella Argo and Alberta Miley; brothers, Edison, Mark, Louie and Minter Sartain. She was a member of the Elkhead Church of Christ and was a cook at North Elementary School. She is survived by her son, Speaker (Wanda) Myers, Altamont; daughter, Ethelene (Carl) Burnett, Pelham; sister, Nell (Ralph) Lappin, Coalmont; grandchildren, Michael (Tara) Myers, Gerald (Kathy) Burnett, Cheryl (William) Ruehling, Gail (Tony) Clayborne, Tim (Andrea) Myers and Martha Jane (Chuck) Bonine; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday March 16, 2010 in the funeral home chapel with Minister Charles Childers officiating with burial to follow in the Airview Cemetery. Visitation after 3:00 PM Till 9:00 PM Monday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont.
