Tracy City - Margaret Elaine "Tan" Brown Shadrick, 62, died Thursday, January 14, 2010. She was a social worker at the Tracy Elementary School and attended Browns Hollow Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, James H. Nunley; brothers, Bill and Charles Nunley; sister, Gladys McGee. She is survived by her mother, Mary M. Johnson Nunley; sons, Wes and Rush (Shelly) Brown; brothers, Clarence (Judy), Max (Betty) and Joe (Ann) Nunley; sisters, Janie (Wayne) Smartt, Jean Nunley, Lois (Doug) Seagroves, Donna (Bernard) Knost, Ruth (Billy) Braden, Pamela (Craig) Nunley and Kate (Barry) Braden; special friend, Kathy Nunley; grandson, James Cole Brown; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Mike Rigsby officiating with burial to follow in the Coalmont Cemetery. Visitation after 4:00 PM Friday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN.
