Obituary of Timothy Edward Joseph Plunkett

Spencer, TN-Mr. Timothy Edward Joseph Plunkett, age 72, passed away Monday June 19, 2023 at his home from an extended illness. Tim was born on November 25, 1950 to the late Edward Joseph Matthew and Irene Marie Ann Whitman Plunkett.  He was a corporate salesman with Red Wing Shoe Company and was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Sherry Lynn Sotto Plunkett, sister and husband; Eileen and Harry Heiselmann.

Tim is survived by his loving family, wife; Virginia Hall Plunkett of Cane Creek Community, sons; Mark (Natalie) Plunkett of Boise, ID, Eric (Brandi) Plunkett of Merridian, ID, T J (Lenina) Plunkett of Boise, ID, Matt (Ruth) Plunkett of Seymour, TN, Scott Plunkett of Boise, ID, daughters; Christy (Eric Jones) Plunkett Hillier of Hoschton, GA, Heather (Mark) Vargas of Boise, ID, Lisa (Brian) DeLong of Nampa, ID, April (Chris Schiltz) Plunkett of Acworth, GA, Step-children; James Escalante of Jarrell, TX, Albertina Puga of Leander, TX, Joseph (Deidre) Escalante of Leander, TX.  Twenty-six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.

Tim chose cremation as his final disposition and there are no public services scheduled.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to American Legion Post 207, 158 Spring Street Spencer, TN 38585.
