Q: What will you never forget about Kaye?
A: I'll never forget how much fun I had as a child coming to your house in Sarasota, FL. It was a vacation for me. Also, how you took me to the dentist to get my tooth fixed when my mom and dad wouldn't. I'll never forget you and love you always.

Kay was a wonderful caring person. My fondest memory of her is riding in the car with her and Faye. Even though Faye was driving and Kay was in the back seat she couldn’t help telling Faye how to drive which lead to nagging back and forth. It was all in love. They were the closest sisters I ever have known. She will be missed.

One of my biggest memories of my little sister was that she loved a lot of Christmas gifts under the tree. So much so that as a child one year she wrapped up anything she could find and put it under the tree, such as a pair of socks from out of our sock drawer, a half used tin of shoe polish , and several other odd gifts. She was a lover of dr pepper sodas and bugles chips as a high schooler til she made herself sick eating them and refused to ever eat that again as far as I know. As we all do as adults , we grew apart and led our own lives in separate states. So most of those years are lost as far as memories go. But still I will miss her, knowing she will be there in the end and we will catch up on all that then. I do know that as twins I never could understand why everyone would say they couldn't tell them apart. I never thought they even favored each other. I guess that's because I was their big sister!

What a sweet person she has been. I'm keeping everyone in my prayers and plan to be there as not only family but have come to love having Kaye and Faye as neighbors. I know I'll be missing her. But I know she is already loving her new home right next to Jesus and his streets of pure gold.
