I met Dottie when she met Terry. She sat me down and braided my hair. Then we all went on an adventure to lost creek cave. We all spent that summer at the river. We paddled and floated away the summer.
I liked her instantly and she became family to me when she married my friend. We jumped into the water after she said I do. She was still in her wedding dress. All of my memories of Dottie are of fun times. She brought me joy. Her children did too.
Terry and Luke and Trey and Tyler and Lilly and Kinzie and Tyler - I am so very sorry for your loss. May peace find you my loves- keep walking. It’s just somewhere up ahead out of sight. Grief may not ever lessen its grip, but peace may come in time. May courage and a brave heart be yours. May you be surrounded and supported by love. I’m sorry.

I am still in shock about this it doesn't seem real...Dottie-- thank you for letting me and Mom be a part of your loving family for all of these years...I KNOW YOU WILL WATCH OVER YOUR MOM AND KIDS AS WELL AS EVERYONE ELSE...I LOVE AND MISS U SO MUCH.... I know that you will have a lot of fur babies to take care of..I'm sorry Sam for your loss of Dottie. She is and was like a little sister to me.....RIP DOTTIE

Another Light has gone out in our world..but is illuminating brightly in Heaven...Dottie will be sadly missed especially by all who had the opportunity to know and love her, she will also be missed by all the animals that she fought so hard to save...she is Home with Jesus and all of her loved ones that had gone before her...it is not goodbye..it is see you when The Lord calls us Home...
