Obituary of Arthur "Buddy" Brock
Spencer, TN-Mr. Arthur Lee “Buddy” Brock, age 72, passed away Sunday May 30, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Buddy was born October 6, 1948, in Van Buren County to the late Emmett and Joe Marie Cope Brock. He was a resident of the Piney Community, a member of Cagle Community Church and was self-employed. Buddy was a loving family man who enjoyed music and his guitar.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son-in-law; Greg Hale and brother-in-law; Don Lee.
Buddy is survived by his caring and loving family, wife; Joann Prater Brock, daughters; Teresa (Timothy) Russell of Winchester, Tina Hale of Spencer, and Sandy (Bruce) White of Spencer, sisters; Iva (James) Simmons, Jewell Lee and Daisy Medley all of Spencer, grandchildren; Justin (Sherra) Hale, Matthew (Sandra) Russell, Kevin (Kendra) Russell and Miranda (Woody Mitchell) White, great-grandchildren; Waylon Forrest White, Morgan, Aiden and Maddie Russell, Annabelle and Mary Beth Russell, Dixie, Macie and Wade Hale. Special friend; Dale Johns. Several nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family also survive.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 2, 2021 at 2:00pm in the Layne Chapel with Bro. Darrell Nance and Bro. Michael Brock officiating. Burial will follow in the Hitchcox Cemetery in Bledsoe County. Visitation will be Tuesday June 1st from 3:00pm to 9:00pm and Wednesday June 2nd 10:00am till time of service at 2:00pm.
