Obituary of James Willard King

Spencer, TN-Mr. James Willard King, age 65, passed away Sunday February 21, 2021. A Van Buren County native, James was born on July 19, 1955 to the late George Willard King and Clata Ruth Bouldin King who survives.  James attended the Church of Christ.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brother; David King, sister; Connie King Cunningham, and nephew; Timothy Cunningham.

James is survived by his mother; Clata Ruth King of Spencer, sisters; Brenda “Bob” Holland of McMinnville and Linda “Jim” Hixson of the Cagle Community, sister-in-law; Wanda Minton King of the Cagle Community.  Nieces, nephews, and an extended family also survive.

James chose cremation as his final disposition and a private memorial service will be held at a later date with his ashes interred at Shockley Cemetery.
