Obituary of Elsie Marie Martin

Spencer, TN-Elsie Marie Martin, age 75, went to be with the Lord Monday December 21, 2020. She passed away at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville from a short illness.  Elsie was born November 20, 1945 to the late Coleman and Susie Duggin in Cannon County. She was a 30-year member of the Cagle Community Church.

In addition to her parents Elsie was preceded in death by her husband; Bobby Dewayne Martin, brothers; Calvin, J. R., Kenneth and Charles Ray Duggin, sisters; Louise Christmen and Wanda Duggin, grandson; Brandon Campbell.

Elsie is survived by sons; Robert (Jennifer) Martin and Barry Martin both of Spencer, brother; Jerry (Peggy) Duggin of McMinnville, sisters; Jesse Pearl Turner of Smithville and Martha Lee Ferrell of Cannon County, grandchildren; Megan (Nathan Cribbs) Campbell of Spencer, Cynthia (Michael) Lawson of Maryville and Anna (Jimmy) King of Spencer, great-grandchildren; Sophia, Felicity and Zylen Cribbs of Spencer, Ashley Lawson and Debbie Martin of Maryville.  Nieces, nephews, and extended family also survive.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday December 23, 2020 at Mount View Church of Christ Cemetery (SR 30 in Warren County) at 12 noon with Bro. Darrell Nance officiating.
