Obituary of Leona Hale

Spencer, TN-Francis Leona Hale, age 82, passed from this life Saturday October 10, 2020 at her Piney Community residence surrounded by her loving family.   Leona was born June 23, 1938, in Van Buren County to the late W.A. and Martha Allen Curtis.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Bethlehem Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents Leona was preceded in death by sons; James L. and Gregory Hale, brother; Eddie Christian, sisters; Madelyn Vance and Virginia Bouldin.

Leona is survived by her loving husband; James Hale, daughter; Juwana McCoy, sisters; Linda (Connie Joe) Hillis and June Rogers, grandchildren; Angel Madewell, Justin (Sherra) Hale, Jared McCoy and Wyatt (Courtney) Hale, great-grandchildren; Ashlynn, Jayden, Thelie and Joshlynn Madewell, Dixie, Macie and Wade Hale, Hayven McCoy and Case Hale, daughters-in-law; Glenece Cole and Tina Hale.

A graveside service will be held Monday October 12, 2020 at 10:00am in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, on Rocky River Mountain, with Bro. R.C. Christian and Candace Brewer officiating.
