Obituary of Jonny Eugene Dabney

Spencer, TN-Mr. Jonny Eugene Dabney, 70, passed away Friday July 31, 2020 at his residence from an extended illness.  Jonny was born in Beauty, Kentucky on July 31, 1950 to the late Ernie and Gay Davis Dabney.  He was retired from the United States Army and served during the Vietnam war. He was a member of Welchland Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Jonny was preceded in death by his loving wife Devota Johnson Dabney.

He is survived by his daughters; Jeniver (Michel) Boyer of Grafton, West Virginia and Sally (Sheldon) Swoape of Woodbury, Tennessee, sister; Cindy St. Clair of Columbia, Kentucky, grandchildren, his church family, extended relatives and friends

Mr. Dabney chose cremation for his final disposition.  A memorial service will be held 11:00am Saturday August 8th at Welchland Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Adams officiating. Internment of Mr. Dabney's ashes will occur at Cagle Cemetery.
