Obituary of Cory Edward Grissom

Spencer-Mr. Cory Edward Grissom, 41, passed away Monday April 6, 2020 at Tri-Star Hospital in Hendersonville. A Van Buren County native, Cory was born on February 23, 1979 to Jimmy and Donna Grissom. He was a self-employed logger for many years and graduated from Van Buren County High School Class of 1997. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. Cory was preceded in death by brother, Adam Grissom, grandfathers; Glenn Grissom and Lowell Grissom. He is survived by his children; Tyzie, Nakia, Dallin, Corlie Grissom and Timber Walker, mother of his children; Jessica Bryant Grissom brothers; Logan (Kim) Grissom, Jordon Grissom, sisters; Kelly (Terry) Lewis, Laura (Spencer) Grissom, Amber (Cole) Delong and Jaleta Grissom, grandmothers; Lee Grissom and Aleta Grissom, girlfriend; Jacqueline Walker. Uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and a large extended family also survive. A graveside service will be held Tuesday April 7, 2020 at 2:00pm in the Shockley Cemetery with Bro. Jim Grissom officiating.
