Obituary of Beulah Brimer

Spencer, TN-Ms. Beulah Mae Brimer, 68, of Spencer passed away Friday September 27, 2019 at home surrounded by family.  She was born February 9, 1951 in Spencer to the late Silas and Mary Black Simmons.  Beulah was a lifelong resident of Van Buren County, a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by daughter; Elizabeth Diane Simmons.

She is survived by her son: Brian Brimer of Murfreesboro, daughter; Jennifer (Gary) Mason of Quebeck, brothers; Richard (Delores) Simmons and John (Wanda) Simmons both of Spencer, sisters; Betty (Houston) Brimer of Spencer, Mary (Gary) Bumbalough of Sparta and Margaret (David) Brimer of Doyle, grandchildren; Jaden Brymer, Dustin and Cody Mason. Several nieces, nephews and extended family also survive.

A special thank you to Avalon Hospice and hospice team members Tina Walker and Teresa Johnson for their loving and thoughtful care of Beulah.

Funeral services will be held Monday September 30, 2019 at 1:00pm in the Layne Chapel with Bro. Wayne Sullivan and Bro. Johnathon Hankins officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencer Town Cemetery.  Visitation times are Sunday from noon till 9:00pm and Monday 8:00am till time of service at 1:00pm.
