Obituary of Robertle May

 Spencer, Tennessee – Mr. Robertle May, 86, passed away Wednesday July 3, 2019 at his home.  He was born in Dunlap, Tennessee on May 6, 1933 to Clarence and Anna Savage May who preceded him in death.

 

He attended First Baptist Church in Sparta and was a retired factory worker.

 

He is survived by his wife, Gertrude May; son, Michael (Cindy) May, Painesville, OH; daughter, Louise (Marvin) Christian, Madison, OH; brother, Dewey May, Spencer, TN; sisters, Ruby Songer, Brockdale, TN; Beatrice Debore, Chattanooga, TN, Lucille (Teddy) Smith, Pikeville, TN; 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Saturday in the Layne Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow in the Rainey-Dill Cemetery at Brockdale.  Visitation: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM Saturday at Layne Funeral Home, Spencer, Tennessee www.laynefuneralhome.com
