Obituary of Paul Wilburn Taylor

Spencer, TN-Mr. Paul Wilburn Taylor, 81, of Spencer passed away Friday May 17, 2019 from a short illness. He was born August 23, 1937 in Hickman County to the late Leonard and Essie Dunn Taylor.  Mr. Taylor was a machinist and worked many years at Dezurik.  He was of the Church of God faith and attended East Sparta Church of God.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother; Robert Taylor and sister; Margaret Reed.

He is survived by his loving wife; Kathryn Melton Taylor of Spencer, daughter; Norma Jean (Dan) Allen of Newburn, TN. He is also survived by his brothers; Prentice (Judy) Taylor, Lowell (Joy) Taylor and Joe Taylor, sisters; Faye (Ricky) Bomar and Catherine (David) Hughes, grandchildren; Pauletta Allen and Melanie Barker, great-grandchildren; Joey and Keithlyn Jackson. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be Monday May 20, 2019 at 11:00am in the Layne Chapel with Bro. Charles Dodson officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and Monday 10:00am till time of service at 11:00am.  Burial will follow in the Spencer Town Cemetery.
