We were shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Dave's passing. He will be missed by us.
Dave was a humble, caring person and we delighted to watch him interact with Evan and Colin. He obviously cared very deeply for them. When they needed adult guidance he provided it gently but firmly. And of course his love for Sue was obvious.
We were impressed by Dave's knowledge and love for learning. We cannot recall Dave at a Sparkmantown Community supper without a book in tow! Conversations with Dave could be light and casual or they could be deep and thoughty.
Based on my conversations with Dave I am convinced that his faith was deep and sincere so I am confident that he now is in Heaven with his Lord and Savior.
While we will miss Dave, we are sure that his family will miss him even more. May God provide comfort and peace to this famly and keep then strong in His faith.
