Obituary of Danny Lee Dodson

Spencer, TN-Mr. Danny Lee Dodson Sr., 63, passed away Thursday February 28, 2019 at his home from an extended illness.  He was born March 2, 1955 to parents Frank and Ruth Sullivan Dodson who preceded him in death.  A life-long resident of Van Buren County and was employed by Acument Global for many years. Danny was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.  He was a member of the White County Coon Hunters Club and a member of the Coon Hunters Association.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Ronnie W. Dodson.

Danny is survived by his wife; Karen Dodson of Spencer, sons; Ronnie (Toshia) Dodson of the Fall Creek Falls Community and Danny Lee Dodson, Jr. of Nashville, brothers: Terry Dodson of Spencer and John (Julie) Dodson of Bone Cave, sister; Kathy (Glenn) Bickford of Bone Cave, grandchildren; Tyler, Collin, Payton and Caston.  Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a large extended family also survive.

A graveside service will be held Saturday March 2, 2019 at the Dodson Cemetery on Beech Cove Road at 1:00pm with Gene Dodson and Turner Binkley officiating.  Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday from 2:00pm till 9:00pm and Saturday morning from 10:00am till 12 noon.
