Obituary of Kenneth William Lawson

Spencer, TN-Mr. Kenneth “Shorty B” William Lawson, 61, passed from this life Tuesday February 26, 2019 at his sister Faye’s residence from an extended illness.  He was born September 6, 1957 to Fred Eugene and Grace Lee Moore Lawson who preceded him in death.  A lifelong resident of Van Buren County, he worked in the construction and roofing business for many years.  He was of the Church of God faith.

He is survived by his daughters; Jessica Gillespie, Heather Lawson and Danielle Lawson all of McMinnville, brothers; Edward, Billy and Steve Lawson, Everette Moore, Ed and Fred Scott, sisters; Barbara (Bob) Yates, Faye Sullivan and Linda Martin. Eight grandchildren also survive. Special niece Nina Howard and special nephew Chris Yates.

Special appreciation to Mica Simmons, Diane Hale and all the people at Avalon Hospice for all the care they gave to “Shorty”.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday February 27, 2019 at 1:00pm in Spencer Town Cemetery with Bro. Harris officiating.
