Obituary of Kyle Edward Yates

Spencer, TN- Mr. Kyle Edward Yates, 33, of Spencer passed away Thursday February 7, 2019 at his home.  Kyle was born July 22, 1985 to Eddie D. and Nina Scott Yates. He was a native and lifelong resident of Van Buren County.  He was a Corrections Officer with the State of Tennessee, loving father and husband.

He was preceded in death by his mother Nina Scott Yates.

Kyle is survived by his wife; Crystal Lambert Yates, son; Kayden Yates, daughter; Kayleigh Yates all of Spencer, father; Eddie D. Yates of Fall Creek Falls Community, brother; Kelly (Zahrya) Yates of Fort Meade, MD, sisters; Kristen Farmer of Spencer and Jaden Brymer of Rock Island, paternal grandparents J. C. and Willene Bayless, maternal grandmother Beverly Sullivan.  Aunts, nephews and a large extended family also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday February 13, 2019 at 2:00pm in the Layne Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. William Shockley officiating.  Burial will follow in the Long Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday February 12, 2019 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm and Wednesday from 11:00am till time of service.
