Obituary of Johnny Wayne Myers

Spencer, TN-Mr. Johnny Wayne Myers 53, passed from this life to be with the Lord Tuesday October 16, 2018, at Cookeville Regional Hospital from an extended illness.  He was a resident of Cookeville and a Van Buren County native. He was a family man who enjoyed fishing with his sons and hunting.  Johnny was a Christian and was a member of Life Praise Worship Center of Sparta under Pastor J. V. and Abby Lowery.

He was born June 23, 1965 to the Late John Everett Myers and Mamie Jewell Yates Myers who survives.

In addition to his mother he is survived by loving his wife Vanessa Cornett Myers of Cookeville, sons; Casey Wayne and Johnny Cyle Myers of Cookeville, brothers; Darrell and Michael Myers, grandchild; Kennedy Jane, in-laws; Charles and Sharon Connell, special aunt June Smith, a large extended family and a host of very special friends.

Services will be Friday October 19, 2018 at 5:00pm in the Chapel of Layne Funeral Home with Pastor Tracy Curtis and Pastor Joe Ramsey officiating.  Visitation will be Friday from 3:00pm till time of service.

He will be laid to rest in the Myers Cemetery in Van Buren County.
